The Situation:
Providing Coloured Industrial Grade Floor Screed for a Prestigious Showroom
Our client was recently involved with the fit-out of an exciting showroom and retail space for a well-known American manufacturer of guitars and other musical instruments.
The building required a new floor system that would be welcoming to both staff and visitors of this iconic global brand, whose London Garage will be the first of its kind outside of the USA.
The Solution:
The key to success for all flooring projects is getting the surface preparation right. This means CG Flooring Systems’ team of experts can deliver the best finish for the new flooring system.
First, we repaired defects in the substrate, before commencing with full mechanical preparation of the floor surface.
Once the floor was suitably prepared, the surface was primed, ready to receive the hardwearing floor screed system. The sand-coloured screed was machine-pump applied throughout the designated areas, leaving a smooth and decorative finish to the new floor.
The final stage was to treat the floor with a clear sealer, which provides protection and easy cleaning for the floor system.
The Results:
We believe the installation has turned out well, even if we say so ourselves ……. More importantly, our client was delighted with the result.
