CG Flooring Systems are no Mickey Mouse outfit, and when Disney merchandise creators SAMBRO International wanted someone to repair the flooring at their warehouse in Bury, Lancashire there was only one firm who were asked to come in and do the job.

“SAMBRO contacted us because they had a requirement for repairs to be carried out to the floor joints in the warehouse; particularly in the aisles which receives heavier traffic movement from the Materials Handling Equipment” said Alan Yuill, Director of CG Flooring Systems. “The repairs were necessary to allow the busy warehouse to perform at its optimum efficiency, and meet demand.”
They needed the work to be done quickly and avoid as much downtime as possible, but because the aisles run on wire guidance systems, this could have been a problem.
“Our expertise and knowledge enabled us to carry out effective repairs, whilst still maintaining connectivity of the wire guidance system throughout the warehouse” said Alan. “This ensures only minimal impact on operations.”
CG Flooring Systems then carried out arris repairs and joint reseals, in 25 aisles. The repairs were completed over seven working days, with tried and tested repair details, using the CoGri range of Rapid Repair products.
The quality job was completed in a good time-frame, which meant that SAMBRO’s operations weren’t affected too much, and maximum productivity can now be achieved.
