Providing floors compliant with AutoStore specifications
Our client was installing a new AutoStore system for their customer in an area of 350m2 in one of their London warehouses.
Our job was to provide a floor compliant with AutoStore specifications. The floor would, therefore, ensure the AutoStore system had stability, precise alignment, smooth movement, and optimal tracking. All of which are crucial for a safe and efficient operation.
The Solution and Results:
Surveying, Repair, and Corrective Grinding
Working to a tight programme, the floor compliance grinding needed to be completed prior to the 2022 Christmas break.
Site Survey
With a small window of opportunity in our schedule, a plan was set in place for Face Consultants Ltd to arrive ahead of the CG Flooring Systems grinding team. They surveyed the floor and identified any errors.
Grinding Floors to Compliance
Once on site, the grinding team managed to maintain a good pace, working over the weekend to ensure they could hand the floor area back to our client in good time for the AutoStore construction phase.
