CG Flooring Systems has worked with Face Consultants, an independent floor design and testing organisation, for many years.
Thanks to tried and tested teamwork, this means that one of our latest projects for an industrial concrete flooring contractor & concrete finishing specialist was finalised a day before schedule.
Our client asked CG Flooring to bring the floor of a warehouse in Camberley, Surrey, within tolerance using corrective grinding ahead of a new Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) installation.
Our client was installing a new AutoStore system into a warehouse but required the floor to meet the exacting flooring specification stipulated by the world’s leading cube storage automation provider.
Face Consultants first surveyed the 350m2 area using the latest in digital floor flatness testing equipment to identify areas out of compliance. CG Flooring then assessed the results to create a comprehensive corrective grinding plan designed to bring the floor to specification.
Our familiarity with Face Consultants’ method of working allowed CG Flooring’s specialist grinding team to hit the ground (or even floor!) running when they arrived on site. Presented with a short window of opportunity in the construction programme, CG Flooring Systems was under pressure to complete the grinding work, ensuring it did not impact the timing of the installation programme for the new AutoStore system. We maximised the time spent grinding, which guaranteed tolerance was met quickly and allowed the AutoStore construction phase to proceed as planned.
Our team of specialist grinding technicians and Face Consultants surveyors have the Skills and understanding to deliver floors to meet demanding floor flatness specifications, with minimum fuss.
